SCOPE OF WORK
INTERIOR DEMOLITION OF AREAS SHOWN IN PLAN,
REMOVAL OF ALL EXISTING ELECTRICAL OUTLETS, SWITCHES AND LIGHT FIXTURES IN
THE PATH OF CONSTRUCTION, ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR TO PULL WIRES TO POINT
OF ORIGIN. ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR TO PULL PERMIT.
REMOVAL OF EXISTING WINDOWS, DOORS, INTERIOR PARTITIONS AS PER PLAN,
PORTION OF EXISTING CBS WALLS AND FINISHES.
INSTALL NEW WINDOWS, DOORS, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING AS PER
PLANS. WORKS EXCEED 50% OF EXISTING,
DEMOLITION NOTES:
1. CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING
ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO COMMENCING WORK.
2. G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE STORAGE AND DISPOSAL OF DEBRIS
CAUSED BY ANY DEMOLITION REQUIRED BY THIS JOB.
3. G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PROVIDING BARRICADES TO STOP
ANY PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC AT THE AREA FOR CONSTRUCTION.
4. IN THE EVENT THAT ANY DISCREPANCIES ARE FOUND DURING THE DEMOLITION
STAGE, THE G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTIFYING THE ARCHITECT PRIOR TO
PROCEEDING WITH THE WORK.
5. ALL ELECTRICAL OUTLETS, FIXTURES AND EQUIPMENT THAT IS REMOVED SHALL
HAVE ALL WIRES PULL BACK ALL THE WAY TO THE POINT OF ORIGIN.
6. ALL ABANDONED PLUMBING PIPES BELOW SLAB AND INSIDE WALLS SHALL
BE CAPPED OFF.
7. G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR NOTIFYING THE ARCHITECT OF ANY GAS LINES, OR
FUEL STORAGE TANKS FOUND IN THE PATH OF CONSTRUCTION PRIOR TO
REMOVAL.
8. G.C. SHALL KEEP THE JOB SITE CLEAN AND CLEAR OF ANY DEBRIS THAT MAY
OCCUR DUE TO THE SCOPE OF WORK.
9. G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE FOR PATCHING UP ANY AREAS DAMAGED DUE TO
THE DEMOLITION OR CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT.
10. ALL INTERIOR WALLS AND PORTION OF WALLS BEING REMOVED ARE
NON LOAD BEARING WALLS.

4. REMOVE EXISTING G.W.B ON EXTERIOR WALL. REMOVE EXISTING DAMAGED
FURRING STRIPS AND INSULATION.

6. REMOVE EXISTING ELECTRICAL OUTLETS ON REMOVED WALL. PULL WIRES TO
POINT OF SERVICE,
7. REMOVE EXISTING G.W.B. WALLS AS SHOWN. REMOVE ALL ELECTRICAL OUTLETS,
AND SWITCHES IN THE PATH OF CONSTRUCTION; PULL WIRES TO POINT OF ORIGIN.
8. REMOVE EXISTING DOOR AND FRAME.
9. REMOVE EXISTING BATHROOM FINISHES IN FLOOR AND WALLS.
10. REMOVE EXISTING BATHROOM FIXTURES. CAP -OFF EXISTING PLUMBING (WATER
AND SEWER) BELOW SLAB /INSIDE WALL AND ABANDON; REMOVE ALL ELECTRICAL
OUTLETS, AND SWITCHES IN THE PATH OF CONSTRUCTION; PULL WIRES TO POINT
OF ORIGIN.
11. REMOVE EXISTING WINDOWS AS PER PLAN.
12. REMOVE EXISTING CBS WALL AND CONCRETE BEAM ABOVE. GC TO PROVIDE
TEMPORARY SHORING FOR EXISTING ROOF,
