I. TITLE TO MATERIALS: TITLE TO ALL MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT TO BE
DEMOLISHED AND REMOVED EXCEPTING ITEMS INDICATED TO BE
TURNED OVER TO THE OWNER 15 VESTED IN THE CONTRACTOR AT
START OF PROJECT. ALL PLUMBING FIXTURES, LIGHTING FIXTURES,
A/C EQUIPMENT, APPLIANCES, TRAYS, SPECIALTY ITEMS, ETC. SHALL
BE EVALUATED BY A REPRESENTATIVE OF THE M.H.5. AS TO THE
STATUS OF THEIR REMOVAL. THE OWNER WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE
FOR THE CONDITIONS, LOSS OR DAMAGE OF SUCH PROPERTY AFTER
NOTICE TO PROCEED.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE 517E OF THE WORK AND EXAMINE
THE PLANS AND IT WILL BE A55UMED THAT THE CONTRACTOR
HAS INVESTIGATED AND 15 FULLY INFORMED AS TO THE CONDITIONS
AND MATERIALS TO BE ENCOUNTERED AS TO CHARACTER, QUALITY
AND QUANTITIES OF WORK TO BE PERFORMED AND MATERIALS
TO BE FURNISHED AND AS TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE PLANS.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE ALL SPECIFIC ITEMS INDICATED ON
THESE DRAWINGS AND AL50 REMOVE ANY OTHER ITEMS OR
CONSTRUCTION AS REQUIRED TO ACCOMPLISH ALL NEW WORK
TO AREAS SHOWN
4. ALL REMOVED ITEMS SHALL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF THE

FINISHES DAMAGED BY DEMOLITION WORK THAT ARE INTENDED TO
REMAIN.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN ALL PERMITS REQUIRED FOR
HAULING AND LEGALLY DISPOSING OF MATERIALS REMOVED
IN DEMOLITION WORK.
8. THE AMOUNT OF DUST RE5ULTIN6 FROM DEMOLITION SHALL BE
CONTROLLED TO PREVENT THE SPREAD OF DUST TO AVOID
CREATION OF A NUISANCE IN THE 5URROUNDING AREA. USE OF
WATER WILL NOT BE PERMITTED WHEN IT WILL RESULT IN, OR
CREATE, HAZARDOUS OR OBJECTIONABLE CONDITIONS SUCH AS
FLOOOIN6 AND POLLUTION.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROCEED WITH EXTREME CAUTION
50 AS NOT TO DISRUPT EXISTING UTILITIES. VERIFY LOCATION
OF ALL UTILITIES PRIOR TO DEMOLITION WORK. REMOVE AND GAP
ALL UNUSED LINES AS MAY BE REQUIRED.
10. COORDINATE THE EXTENT OF MECHANICAL/ ELECTRICAL/ PLUMBING
DEMOLITION AND NEW WORK WITH THE MEP DRAWINGS.
II. SEE ELECTRICAL DRAWINGS FOR THE LOCATION OF ALARMS,
SMOKE DETECTORS, EMERGENCY EXIT LIGHTS AND SIGNS, ETC.
EXI5TIN6 ITEMS ARE TO BE RE -U5ED WHERE APPLICABLE.
12. ANY LIGHT SWITCHES ON WALLS SCHEDULED TO BE REMOVED
ARE TO BE RELOCATED TO CLOSEST ADJACENT WALL.
13. CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE AND RE- INSTALL EXISTING SPEAKERS,
FIRE ALARM DEVICES, ETC. AS REQUIRED TO FACILITATE
THE INSTALLATION OF NEW WORK. CONTRACTOR SHALL AL50
RELOCATE ANY EXISTING CONDUITS THAT INTERFERE IN INSTALLATION
OF NEW DUCTWORK. COORDINATE WITH MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR
TO MAINTAIN CIRCUIT CONTINUITY.
14. GARBAGE REMOVAL SHOULD BE BY COVERED CART ONLY.
15. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR COVERING AND
PROTECTING ALL REMAINING EQUIPMENT AND CABINETRY.
16. ALL EXISTING SURFACES SUCH AS WALLS, FLOORS, CEILINGS, BASES, ETC.
THAT ARE AFFECTED BY THESE ALTERATIONS AND WERE INTENDED TO
