13-1379-002DEMOLITION NOTES I. BUILDINGS SHALL BE ACCESSIBLE. ALL COVERED WALKWAYS, LEADING TO THE BUILDING5 SHALL BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH FLORIDA ACCESSIBILITY GODS. 2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SAFETY DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE FAMILIAR WITH AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ADHERENCE TO ALL GOVERNING REGULATIONS. 5. DURING THE ENTIRE CONSTRUCTION PERIOD, IT SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR TO MAINTAIN CONDITIONS AT THE JOB SITE SO AS TO MEET IN ALL RESPECTS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH ACT (OSHA). THIS PROVISION SHALL COVER THE CONTRACTOR'S EMPLOYEES AND ALL OTHER PERSONS WORKING UPON OR VISITING THE SITE. TO THI5 END, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL INFORM HIMSELF AND HI5 REPRESENTATIVES OF 05HA STANDARDS. 4. COMPLETE ALL DEMOLITION AS SHOWN ON THESE DRAWINGS 5. VISIT THE SITE AND EXAMINE EXISTING CONDITIONS. NOTE ALL CONDITIONS AS TO CHARACTER AND EXTENTS OF WORK INVOLVED. 6. PRODUCE AND PAY FOR ALL NECESSARY PERMITS AND /OR CERTIFICATES REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK SPECIFIED. MAKE ANY AND ALL REQUIRED NOTIFICATIONS AND COMPLY W/ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL STATE AND LOCAL ORDINANCES. -T. EXECUTE ALL DEMOLITION WORK IN AN ORDERLY AND GAREFULL MANNER W/DUE CONSIDERATION FOR EXISTING STRUCTURE TO REMAIN, INCLUDING ANY PARTS OF THE SURROUNDING AREAS WHICH ARE TO REMAIN BARRICADED AND COVERED AS NECESSARY TO PROTECT PEDESTRIANS, WORKMEN AND ADJACENT PROPERTIES. 5. AVOID ANY ENCROACHMENT ON ADJACENT PROPERTIES, REPAIR AND MAKE GOOD ANY DAMAGE TO ADJOINING PROPERTIES OR IMPROVEMENTS CAUSED BY OPERATIONS, INCLUDING ANY DAMAGE OR L055 TO ADJOINING TENANTS OR PROPERTY OWNERS, WHETHER TO BUILDING5, STOCKS OF MERCHANDISE, TRADE FIXTURE OR THE LIKES. PROTECT ANY ACTIVE SERVICE LINKS INDICATED OR NOT. q. CONTRACTOR SHALL CONFINE HI5 APPARATUS, STOORAGE OF MATERIALS, AND OPERATIONS OF HIS WORKMEN TO LIMITS INDICATED BY LAW, ORDINANCES, AND PERMITS CONTRACTOR SHALL ARRANGE AND MAINTAIN PARKING OF ALL VEHICLES AND 5TRORAGE OF MATERIALS IN AN ORDERLY MANNER LEAVING ALL WALKS, DRI VEWAY5, ROAD5 AND ENTRANCES UNENCUMBERED. 10 -KEF-P ALL THROUGH LANES AND DRIVES GLEAN AND CLEAR AT ALL TIMES. II. CONDUCT OPERATIONS 50 AS NOT TO INTERFERE W/ ADJACENT ROADS, STREETS DRIVES, WALKS, SERVICE LINES AND THE LIKE. 12. MAINTAIN BUILDING GROUNDS FREE FROM ACCUMULATION OF WASTE MATERIALS AND RUBBISH. 15. IN ADDITION TO GLEAN -UP PROVISIONS OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE APPROPIATE STEPS TO PREVENT AIRBORNE DUST DUE TO THE WORK OF THE CONTRACT. WATER SHALL BE APPLIED WHEREVER PRACTICAL TO SETTLE AND HOLD DUST TO A MINIMUM, PARTICULARLY DURING THE DEMOLITION AND MOVING OF MATERIALS. 14.F'ROVIDE DUMP CONTAINERS ON SITE FOR COLLECTION OF WASTE MATERIALS, RUBBISH AND DEBRIS FOR ALL TRADES. 15. UPON COMPLETION OF DEMOLITION WORK, LEAVE THE PROPERTY AND ADJACENT AREAS GLEAN AND SATISFACTORY TO LOCAL AUTHORITIES AND THE DESIGNER. BESIDES THE REMOVAL OF WASTE MATERIALS. THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL GLEANING SHALL BE REQUIRED JUST PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE. 16. THE ENTIRE SPACE SHALL BE LEFT IN A "BROOM GLEAN" CONDITION, WITH THE COMPLETE REMOVAL OF ALL ACCUMULATIONS OF DUST FROM ANY REMAINING SURFACES, STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OR OTHERWISE. 17.
