SHALL SOUND AT THE FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL AND THE LOCATION OF
THE ALARM SHALL BE DISPLAYED, IN ENGLISH, AT THE CONTROL PANEL AND
ANY REMOTE ANNUNCIATOR. THE ALARM SHALL ALERT THE ENTIRE BUILDING

ELEVATOR WARNING LIGHTS: ACTUATION OF ANY ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM
SMOKE DETECTOR OR ELEVATOR HOIST WAY DETECTOR SHALL ALSO INITIATE ANY
EXISTING ELEVATOR WARNING LIGHTS TO ALERT EMERGENCY PERSONNEL THAT
THE ELEVATORS ARE NOT SAFE TO USE.
HEAT DETECTOR DEDICATED FOR ELEVATOR SHUNT SHALL BE CONNECTED WHERE
REWIRED. AND ACTIVATE A CONTROL SHUNT TO DISCONNECT POWER UPON ACTIVATION. THE
SHUNT POWER SOURCE SHALL BE MONITORED.
HEAT DETECTORS:
THE ACTIVATION OF A NEW HEAT DETECTOR SHALL INITIATE AN "ALARM"
CONDITION IN THE BUILDING FOR EVACUATION PURPOSES. HEAT DETECTORS
SHALL BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 72, (2007 EDITION) CHAPTER
5.6. AN AUDIBLE ALARM TONE SHALL SOUND AT THE FIRE ALARM CONTROL
PANEL AND THE LOCATION OF THE ALARM SHALL BE DISPLAYED, IN ENGLISH,
AT THE CONTROL PANEL(S) AND ANY REMOTE ANNUNCIATORS. THE ALARM

THE EXISTING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM CONSISTS OF A FIRE DETECTION
CONTROL PANEL AND INITIATION AND NOTIFICATION APPLIANCES.
3. THE EXISTING FIRE ALARM SYSTEM IS "POWER LIMITED'.
4. THE EXISTING FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL IS INTELLIGENT AND HAS
