'Acces's controlled Door with Electro—Magnetic Locks
IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 101-2006-7.2.1.6.2 (1-8)
1 Door . is in the secure position when closed, the door status contact is lined up and
the locking mechanism has engaged.
2." To enter the door . the person must present- a valid. card at the card reader, after
verification the system will grant access thru the door by releasing the lock for a set
period of time.

Request To Exit (REX) motion detector shall detect. the presence of a person and release
the. lock for a set period of time, allowing free egress.
4. Jn, the event of a system failure, the person can exit, the area by pressing the EXIT
button located within 5 feet of the door, allowing free egress for a minimum of 30
seconds.

release the lock, allowing free egress.
