SOIL STATEMENT
UPON VISUAL INSPECTION AT SITE BY THE ARCHITECT, SOIL CONDITIONS ARE HARD SAND
& ROCK WITH A MINIMUM LOAD BEARING CAPACITY OF 2000 PSF. ARCHITECT WILL INSPECT
EXCAVATIONS TO VERIFY SOIL CONDITIONS BEFORE CONCRETE IS POURED. THE BUILDING
OFFICIAL WILL BE PROVIDED WITH A STATEMENT IN THE FORM OF A LETTER FROM THE
ARCHITECT VERIFYING THE EXISTING CONDITIONS AND THE ALLOWABLE SOIL BEARING
CAPACITY. SHOULD OTHER CONDITIONS OR MATERIALS BE ENCOUNTERED DURING THE
INSPECTION, THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE NOTIFIED TO STOP WORK SO THAT THE
FOUNDATIONS CAN BE REDESIGNED OR THE SOIL CAN BE REPLACED TO MEET THE CODE
REQUIREMENTS.
DRAINAGE NOTE
ALL RUN -OFF IS AND WILL BE CONTAINED ON THE PROPERTY. ALL CONSTRUCTION SHALL
NOT AFFECT THE RETAINAGE OF WATER RUN -OFF ON PROPERTY. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL
CHECK GRADES AND MAINTAIN PROPER & CORRECT WATER RETAINAGE UPON COMPLETION OF
