THE ENTIRE OXYGEN AND NITROUS OXIDE SYSTEM SHALL COMPLY W41N ALL

CODE ", 2012 EDITION. SYSTEM SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL CATEGORY 3
REQUIREMENTS AS DESCRIBED IN N,F.P.A. 99- SECTION 5.3.
02 STORAGE:
NOT MORE THAN 3,000 CUBIC FEET OF GAS AT STP SHALL BE STORED INSIDE
A "SINGLE TREATMENT FACILITY" (3.3.165). GASES SHALL BE STORED IN AN
ENCLOSURE THAT SERVES NO OTHER PURPOSE (5.3.3.3.3). SEE FLOOR
PLAN AND LAYOUT PLAN FOR LOCATION AND DETAILS.
FO-31 PIPING:
ALL CONNECTIONS SHALL BE 1,000 DEGREES F SILVER SOLDERED. NO OIL

06 GAUGES:
LINE PRESSURE GAUGES SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EACH GAS. LINE
PRESSURE WILL BE BETWEEN 50 AND 55 PSI.
07 VALVES:
A SEPARATE REGULATOR SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR EACH CYLINDER AND A
CHECK VALVE SHALL BE INSTALLED DOWNSTREAM OF THE REGULATOR. A
PRESSURE RELIEF VALVE SET AT 75 PSI SHALL BE INSTALLED FOR SYSTEM
PROTECTION. OUTLET STATION INTERNAL VALVES SHALL NOT BE
INTERCHANGEABLE.
08 CLEANING:
ALL LINES SHALL BE PURGED WITH DRY NITROGEN TO REMOVE DUST AND
DEBRIS BEFORE INSTALLATION OF VALVES.
09 ALARMS:
AUDIBLE AND VISUAL ALARMS SET AT 40 PSI LOW AND 60 PSI HIGH SHALL BE
PLACED IN A CONSTANTLY OCCUPIED (MONITORED) AREA.
EE TESTING:
THE ENTIRE SYSTEM SHALL BE TESTED WITH DRY NITROGEN UNDER 150 PSI
PRESSURE FOR A PERIOD OF NOT LESS THAN 24 HOURS. SOUPY WATER
SHALL BE BRUSHED ON ALL CONNECTIONS DURING TEST TO IDENTIFY
