12-669-004Treatment rooms: In these rooms a variety of cosmetic procedures will take place. These will include facials, peels, laser treatments, etc. the equipment used in these rooms will meet necessary standards and will follow regular inspections as required. Items used in this room will be "single use" type items which will be appropriately discarded in bio- hazards containers and collected for proper disposal. In addition we have forwarded your comments to the engineer on the project to make necessary notations and modifications to the plans to reflect plumbing comments. See above* C-) a Recovery area: The patient will be monitored until fully awake and ready to go home. � � w Z The Nurse's station is a desk area for the assisting nurse to make notes, keep drinks and light snack for recovery area patients as well as an area to store patients' personal items, post -op written instructions and office supplies. Cleaning chemicals, such as surface disinfectants will be those used in office environments and will be used in the manner in which they are indicated. Cleaning of m r surgical items are by autoclave and other surgical items will be single use disposable a items, eliminating the need of major chemicals. Any chemicals, if used on site, will be handled as per manufacturer's recommendations. It is understood that the bio hazard waste generated in the office shall not be disposed oof by way of plumbing fixtures but through proper collection and disposal and it is not r the intention of this office to not make that clear. The bio- hazard waste generated will ®r be collected and discarded in accordance and compliance with state and local W ordinances. Only that which complies with Miami Dade County Sewer Discharge Standards will be discharged into the public sanitary sewer system.
