ACTIVATION OF ANY AUTOMATIC FIRE DETECTION DEVICE WITHIN THE SYSTEM SHALL CAUSE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS: 1) ACTIVATE THE NOTIFICATION CIRCUITS WITH THE EVACUATION TONE AND THE VISUAL SIGNALS. 2) ACTIVATE THE ALARM LIGHT AT ANNUNCIATOR, IF ANY, AND NOTIFY ALARM TO REMOTE U.L. LISTED PROTECTED SIGNALING CENTRAL STATION. 3) DISPLAY A CUSTOM MESSAGE DESCRIBING THE LOCATION, TIME, AND DATE OF THE DEVICE INITIATING THE EVENT (IDENTIFICATION). 4) THE CENTRAL STATION SHALL PERFORM THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS I 1) IMMEDIATELLY RETRANSMIT THE ALARM TO THE PUBLIC FIRE SERVICE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER. 2) IMMEDIATELLY NOTIFY THE SUBSCRIBER. 3) PROVIDE NOTICE TO THE SUBSCRIBER OR AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION, OR BOTH. IF REQUIRED. 2. SMOKE AND HEAT DETECTORS FOR ELEVATOR RECALL IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE SHALL CAUSE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS: 1) SMOKE DETECTORS IN ELEVATOR LOBBIES AND SMOKE DETECTORS IN MACHINE ROOM SHALL, IN ADDITION TO THE ABOVE, ALSO INITIATE THE RECALL OF THE ELEVATOR CARS AS FOLLOWS IN ACCORDANCE WITH NFPA 72, (2002 EDITION) CHAPTER 6.15.3 PHASE I RECALL- ANY ELEVATOR LOBBY HEAT DETECTOR LOCATED ON FLOORS 2 AND ABOVE AND /OR ANY SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM OR ELEVATOR SHAFT SHALL INITIATE PHASE I RECALL WHICH WILL BRING THE ELEVATOR CAR TO THE FIRST FLOOR AND LOCK THE DOORS IN THE OPEN POSITION. PHASE 11 RECALL- ANY ELEVATOR LOBBY HEAT OR SMOKE DETECTOR LOCATED ON THE FIRST FLOOR SHALL INITIATE PHASE II RECALL WHICH WILL BRING THE ELEVATOR CAR TO THE SECOND FLOOR AND LOCK THE DOORS IN THE OPEN POSITION. 3. ACTIVATION OF THE HEAT DETECTOR LOCATED IN THE ELEVATOR SHAFT, ELEVATOR PIT OR ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM SHALL, CAUSE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS. 1) AUTOMATICALLY SHUNT POWER THE ELEVATOR AND INDICATE AT THE FIRE ALARM CONTROL PANEL AND SOUND THE AUDIBLE AND VISUAL THROUGHOUT THE SYSTEM. FIXED TEMP (135' F.) HEAT DETECTORS SHALL BE INSTALLED AS THE MEANS TO AUTOMATICALLY DISCONNECT THE MAIN POWER SUPPLY TO THE ELEVATOR. IN SPRINKLER BUILDINGS, THE SPRINKLER HEADS SHALL HAVE AN ACTIVATION TEMPERATURE GREATER THAN THE REQUIRED ELEVATOR MACHINE ROOM /SHAFT HEAT DETECTORS. FAILURE OF 120 VOLTS POWER TO ELEVATOR SHUNT TRIP SHALL ACTIVATE A SUPERVISORY ALARM AT THE MAIN CONTROL PANEL AND DISPLAY A MESSAGE AT THE MAIN CONTROL PANEL LCD DISPLAY AND REPORT TO THE UL LISTED REMOTE SUPERVISED CENTRAL STATION. 4. ACTIVATION OF THE TROUBLE SIGNAL SHALL CAUSE THE FOLLOWING ACTIONS AND INDICATIONS: 1) SHALL SOUND A LOCAL BUZZER AT THE MAIN CONTROL PANEL DISPLAY A MESSAGE AT THE MAIN CONTROL PANEL LCD DISPLAY, AND REPORT TO THE UL LISTED REMOTE SUPERVISORY CENTRAL STATION.
