6. METER ALL FIELD WIRING CIRCUITS TO INSURE CONTINUITY 81 FREEDOM FROM GROUND
FAULTS, SHORTS, OPENS, STRAY OR INDUCED VOLTAGE FAULTS, ETC. ALL CIRCUITS MUST BE
METERED FOR PROPER RESISTANCE VALUES, INCLUDING E.O.L DEVICES.
S. ALL A.C. CIRCUITS TO BE RUN SEPARATELY FROM D.C. CIRCUITS.
7. ALL DEVICES AND AUXILIARY FUNCTION WIRING SHALL. BE INSTALLED USING EMT CONDUIT.
STEEL COMPRESSION FITTINGS SHALL ONLY BE USED. ISOLATE ALL A/C WIRING FROM DEVICE
AND AUXILIARY WIRING.

9. DO NOT LOOP WIRES UNDER SCREW TERMINALS. BREAK WIRES TO MAINTAIN PROPER
SUPERVISION. CONDUCTORS SHALL BE SOLID OR STRANDED COPPER. TWO WIRES ON THE
SAME TERMINAL MUST NOT DIFFER BY MORE THAN TWO GAUGES. COMPLIANCE WITH ALL LOCAL
CODES IS REQUIRED.
10. ALL STRANDED WIRE SHALL BE TERMINATED WITH RING, FORKED OR PIN TERMINALS.
11. ALL CIRCUIT DEVICES ARE SUPERVISED AND SHOULD BE CONNECTED AS SHOWN. PARALLEL
BRANCHING IS NOT ALLOWED EXCEPT FOR THE SLC LOOP WHERE IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
12. WHEN DISARMING THE CONTROL UNIT ALWAYS OBSERVE THE FOLLOWING SEQUENCE: FIRST,
DISABLE RELEASE CIRCUIT, SECOND DISCONNECT THE BATTERIES, AND THEN DISCONNECT AC
POWER.
13. UNLESS SPECIFICALLY NOTED OTHERWISE, ALL WORK IS TO BE DONE IN ACCORDANCE WITH
MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS, NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE, LOCAL CODES AND A.H.J.

18. TYPE FPL CABLE IS ACCEPTABLE FOR POWER LIMITED CIRCUITS AND IS IN ACCORDANCE WITH
NEC, ARTICLE 760.
19. ALL WIRING TO RELEASE CIRCUIT OUTPUT AND NOTIFICATION APPLIANCE CIRCUITS MUST BE
SHIELDED OR ELECTRICALLY ISOLATED FROM EACH OTHER. SHIELDED CONDUCTORS, MI CABLE,
EMT OR RIGID CONDUIT MAY BE USED. COMPLIANCE WITH NATIONAL AND LOCAL FIRE CODES IS
REQUIRED.
20. CONTROL PANEL WIRING SHALL HAVE SEPARATE COLORS FOR POSITIVE ( +) AND NEGATIVE ().
21. DISTANCE IS CALCULATED SO THE VOLTAGE AT THE MOST REMOTE DEVICE DOES NOT DROP
BELOW THE MINIMUM OPERATING VOLTAGE OF THAT DEVICE. VOLTAGE IS REGULATED.
22. POWER FOR INTERCONNECT CIRCUIT IS SUPPLIED FROM A SEPARATE DISCONNECT OUTSIDE OF
