CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY EXISTING DUCTWORK SIZES, IF APPLICABLE, WHICH CONNECT TO NE DUCTWORK BEFORE FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY EXISTING PIPING SIZES, IF APPLICABLE, WHICH CONNECT TO NEW PIPING BEFORE FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION. BEFORE CUTTING OR MAKING OPENINGS IN ANY BUILDING COMPONENT, CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY USING ANY REQUIRED MEANS THAT ITS LOAD BEARING CAPABILITY IS NOT COMPROMISED IN ANY MATTER. EXISTING SYSTEMS NOT USED. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE COOLING AND HEATING CAPACITIES AND AIR SUPPLY VOLUMES OF ALL EXISTING HVAC SYSTEMS TO REMAIN. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ADVISE THE ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER OF ANY DEVIATION FROM WHAT IS INDICATED ON PLANS, BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH WORK. NOT USED. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSPECT ALL EXISTING DUCTWORK TO BE REUSED AND MAKE ANY NECESSARY REPAIRS TO ENSURE AN AIRTIGHT SYSTEM. AIR LEAKAGE RATES SHALL BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE SMACNA'S STANDARDS. DUCTWORK INSULATION SHALL BE INSPECTED AND REPLACED IN AREAS WHERE THE INSULATION IS DETERIORATED, DAMAGED, OR NOT CONTINUOUS. ALL WORK AND MATERIALS SHALL BE IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. INSPECT AND REPAIR IF REQUIRED DUCT SUPPORTS TO ENSURE SECURE MOUNTING OF THE DUCT SYSTEM.
