Res No 208-15-14547RESOLUTION NO.:208-15-14547 A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to expend an amount not to exceed $8,990 to Set USA-Tennis,Inc.for the purchase of operating equipment and supplies at Dante FascellPark tennis facility. WHEREAS,the City has allocated new funding levels and outlined new priorities inits adopted capital and operating budget for fiscal year 2016;and, WHEREAS,one of those priorities involves the City's plan to bring the tennis operations at Dante Fascell Park in-house;and, WHEREAS Set USA-Tennis,Inc.will provide the city with the desired equipment and supplies necessary for a safe and fun recreation experience at Dante FascellPark tennis facility;and, WHEREAS,competitive proposals were sought from four (4)different sources of supply;Set USA- Tennis,Inc.was the lowest and most responsive vendor. NOW,THEREFORE,BEIT RESOLVED BYTHE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OFTHECITYOF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA THAT: Section1.TheCity Manager is authorized toexpendan amount notto exceed $8,990toSet USA Tennis,Inc.for the purchase of tennis operating equipment and supplies.The total expenditure shallbe charged to Tennis Maintenance and Repair,account number 001-2010-572-4670,which hasa balance of $9,955 before this request was made. Section 2.Severability.If any section clause,sentence,or phrase of this resolution is for any reason held invalid or unconstitutional bya court of competent jurisdiction,the holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this resolution.
