BACKGROUND: Upon recent review of maximum floor height per buildable story of 14 feet in the Transit Oriented Development District (T.O.D.D); the need to increase the first floor buildable story height to 18 feet for interior loading and delivery areas was raised as an issue to be proposed. To provide for various and proper height and vehicle turning radius in the interior loading areas of structures in the T.O.D.D the developer will be permitted to build the first floor vertical story height up to a maximum of eighteen (18) feet. This will provide ceiling clearance to accommodate the height of commercial motor veh icles ranging from 13 feet, 6 inches to 14 feet.
