WHEREAS,the SpecialEvents Division receiveda donation in the amount of$500fromSouth Miami Pharmacy;and WHEREAS,this donation will beused towards the purchase ofschoolsuppliesand other event-related expenditures associated with the 2015 Back to School event. NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA THAT: Section I.TheCityManageris authorized to accept donation contribution in the amount of $500for the Back to School event,increasing the expenditure lineitem 001-2000-572-4820, Promotional Activities/SpecialEvents,witha current balanceof$6,430by$500. Section 2,Severability.Ifanysectionclause,sentence,or phraseofthis resolution isforany reasonheld invalid or unconstitutional bya court of competent jurisdiction,the holdingshall not affect the validityof the remaining portions ofthis resolution.
