MOTION:ByRonaldSmithtoapprovetherequestforvar iance.Seconded by Joyce Price. Discussion ensued regarding the gathering of signatures of the neighboring properties.The Board expressed concern that those owning property totherearofMs.Anderson werenotlistedbecause theyareoutsidetheCity limits.DavidSmithstatedthatthe County is notified but individual notices are sent only to residents oftheCityofSouthMiamiwithinthethreehundredfootradiusof the property requesting variance.TheBoardfeltthatthis should not prejudice the applicant's request forvariancebutthatthe Board should consider requiring the signatures rf,or a letter from, propertyownersofabuttingproperties.
