REVIEW AND PRESERVATION BOARD,OFSECTION1,OF
ORDINANCE NO.20-71-724,HERETOFORE ADOPTED ASTHE
OFFICIALZONINGORDINANCEOFTHECITYOFSOUTHMIAMI
BY:ESTABLISHINGTHENUMBEROFALLOWABLEABSENCESAT
FIVE (5)REMOVING THE PROVISION FOR EXCUSED ABSENCES;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the,Planning Board has considered,reviewed and
recommended the amendments to the zoning ordinance herein requested;
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA:
Section 1.That subsection .04 of Section 11-3-1 MEMBERSHIP,
of Article XI,as it pertains to the Environmental Review and Preservation Board,
of Section 1,of Ordinance No.20-71-724,heretofore adopted as the Official
Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Miami,Florida,be,and the same is hereby
amended,to-wit:
Notwithstanding thetwo (2)year appointment provided in
Section 11-3-1,any member of the Environmental Review
&Preservation Board who misses three (3)required meetings
in a row,or ^ive (5)required meetings in a twelve (12)
month period,shall be automatically removed as a member
of the Environmental Review &Preservation Board.The
Director of Building,Zoning and Community Development shall
keep appropriate records of meetings missed and advise the
City Commission and the member being removed that such member
has been automatically removed.
Section 2.All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict-
herewith be,and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 3.This ordinance shall take effect immediately at the
timeofits passage.
