No. 12-89-1425ORDINANCE NO.1?-ftQ~1425 AN ORDINANCE OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI AMENDING SECTION 8-4-5OF CHAPTER 20OFTHE CITY'S ZONING CODE TO EXCLUDE CERTAIN TYPES OF CRAFT FROM THE CITY'S BOAT AND TRAILER STORAGE REGULATIONS, WHEREAS,the City's zoning code regulates the storage of boatand trailers in yards intheCity;and WHEREAS,the City wishes to exclude certain types of craft fromtheprovisionsofthe regulations. NOW THEREFORE,BE IT ORDAINED BYTHEMAYORANDTHECITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA: Section 1.ThatSection8-4-5ofChapter20oftheCity's Code of Ordinances is amended as follows: 8-4-5 Boats and Trailers Permitted accessary storage of a boat on trailer only.This shall not include boats generally accepted tobeofarowingorpaddling type.Camp trailersshallnotbepermittedinafront yard. CityManagersaidthis is notaproblematthemoment,but couldbeaprobleminthefuturesohewouldlikethe ordinance clarified andinthemeantime,CodeEnforcement officers have been instructednotto cite thesestypesofcraft.
