Project Description TeenPregnancyPreventionCenter,Inc.,isaGrassrootsCommunityServiceCenterwhichtargets children/youthwholivein the target communities ofBrownsville,South Miamiandits surrounding areas.Theprojectisanafter school,evening,andweekendsupport program,with anoperationalschedule of 10:00amto7:00 pm,MondaythroughFriday,and 11:00 amto3:00 pmonweekendsand holidays.Thecenter provides comprehensive Peer/Individual/Group counseling,Abstinence education,Sexeducation,HIV/AIDSeducation,Parentingskills,Life Management Skills,Social and Educational enrichmentactivities,Tutorial/Homework assistance/ BasicEducation(forbothparentand child),andJob training. These services are provided by a network of full time staff,Professional,and Paraprofessional volunteers consisting of Educators,RN.'s Social Workers,Case Managers,and Peer Educators.
