WHEREAS,thePlanningandZoningDepartmentandthePlanningBoardhaveinitiateda program to update,clarify,and improve the provisions oftheCity'sLand Development Code; and WHEREAS,afterreviewandconsiderationthePlanningandZoningDepartmenthas recommended amending certain provisions of Section 20-9.3 pertaining tothe boundaries of the CommunityServiceOverlayZoningDistrict;and WHEREAS,aspecificamendmenttoSection20-9.3wasincludedintheLandDevelopment Code Proposed Technical Amendments 99-A document whichwas reviewed bythe Planning BoardatapublicworkshopheldonOctober 26,1999;and WHEREAS,on November 9,1999,afterpublichearingregardingtheproposedamendment toSection20-9.3 of theLandDevelopmentCode,thePlanningBoardvoted7-0totransmitthe proposedamendmenttotheCityCommission;and W^HEREAS,theCity Commission desirestoacceptthe recommendations ofthe Planning Board and enact the aforesaid amendment.
