A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA,RELATING TO
OPEN SPACE PARK;DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER
PERFORM SURVEY TO ENSURE ACCURATE PROPERTY
BOUNDARIES;PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,the Mayor andCity Commission of theCity of SouthMiami
recognizethe importance of safeguarding taxpayersdollarsandwanttoensurethat
asui'vey of Open Space Parkis conducted to accurately reflect thetrue propeity
line;and
WHEREAS,theMayorandCity Commission wouldliketohavethe
fencing surrounding Open Space Park relocated,if need be,to reflect the
boundaries of the propeity.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI,FLORIDA;
Section 1.That theCityManageris hereby directed to initiate the
process tohavea sui'vey of OpenSpaceParkconducted.
Section2.Upontheconclusion of suchsui'vey,theCity Manager shall
direct staff to relocate fencing,if need be,to coincide withtrue boundaries.
Section 3.This resolution shalltake effect immediately upon approval.
