A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to adopt the South
Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan.
The City of South Miami entered into a contract with Kimley-Horn &
Associates for the South Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan.
The aim of the South Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan was to
establish a safe network of sidewalks, trails, roadway
improvements, neighborhood greenways, and bicycle lanes
throughout the City. Kimley-Horn & Associates cornpleted the
South Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan and presented it to the
City Commission at a scheduled Workshop.
This plan was reviewed and revised per workshop on January 14,
2015. Final document now has those recommendations and
changes incorporated within the Plan.
Hard copy of South Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan will be
available on February 17, 2015 should you wish to have a copy.

19 adopt the South Miami Intermodal Transportation Plan.

22 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY
23 COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH MIAMI, FLORIDA THAT:

26 Section 1: The City Manager is hereby authorized to adopt the South Miami
27 Intermodal Transportation Plan prepared by Kimley-Hom & Associates.

29 Section 2. Severability. If any section clause, sentence, or phrase of this resolution is for
30 any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the holding shall
31 not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this resolution.

33 Section 3. Effective Date. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon
34 adoption by vote of the City Commission.
