The call for the special meeting was read to be held from $ p.m. to
10 p.m. to discuss the fire prevention ordinance, discussion of the
city attorney appointment, final approval of the zoniiig, board maps
and ;purchase of now automobile for the police department.

Several corrections to the minutes Were ;made and upon motion of
Councilman ruidrews j seconded by C;ouncilnian Corley, the minutes as they
have been amended become the, pormaicnt record of the city, and were
adopted as corrected. T,:otion carried. The Clerk was directed to place
at the end of the minutes, a notation to slake the necessary correct -
ions, to becornc a part 'of the minutes.
Pirst matter brought up was for final approval of the Gon`big Board
map; Councilman Gresham su &;osted that the GonigE Board submit a
letter to the Council, at the next ro�ular mcetin.- giving final ap
proval to the maps. The Council coi�urred La Councilman Gresham's
s. cgostion. The Cleric wtos directed to not If Iffy the Goni.i& L:oard of the

Second. Purchase of a now automobile for the Police Dept.
