fhe meeting was called to order by Pres. Van Dusan with Mayor IAcker,
Atty. Yates and Councilmen Corley, Qarballo, .Andrews,; Gresham, Frebish
and Van Dusan responding to roll call.
Pres. Van Dusan read the n otice for the meeting which had been called for
the purpose of having a first, second and third reading of urdinance
JB6, and having a report from Councilman Gresham on his conference with
18rs. lee of the South iziami Coach Ldne.,
Councilman Andrews, seconded by Councilman Corley, moved that Ordinance
No. 1861, caption.of which follows, be placed on first reading in. its
entirety. Motion carried.

Councilman Andrews, seconded by Councilman Corley, moved that Crdinance
No. 186 be placed on second reading by caption only.
Councilman Carba7lo raised the question in erection 4g "adjustment may
be made" vs flad j us tments be made".
Councilman Andrews reported that he had checked and found that when there
is a contemplated change in zoning, applications f'or building permits
are held up in adjoining municipalities. -
Councilman Prebish stated they must make their decisions for the good of
the greatest number and will naturally ustep on someoners toes" in
doing so.
The motion for a second reading h caption only, was carried.

Councilman. Gresham reported on the South icUw —ai Coach Line problem
stating he bad talked with lams. iee and believes she is willing to do
what she has been.asked to do and extended an invitation to the body,
(Council as a whole) to have dinner with.her at the Seven Seas rea
taurant any day next week, that she is leaving a week. from Saturday
for 2 months and would like to get the matter ironed out before she
leaves.

Atty. 'Yates advised on an informal meeting and not as a committee as
GL wholes as in that case it would be official and the public would
have the right tFb come. in.
lies. Van Dusen stated he would appoint a committee �yetio go to airs. Y,ee
and. tell her that the Council will entertain or com-
munications she has to set before ahem, at a. regular meeting of the
City Council in the City, hall. He named Councilman Prebish, who
felt this committee should consist of those who had already had dealings:
with Mrs. Lee. w11en named, Councilman; Gresham stated that he had made
the contact and made the report and feels the others. better qualified
to handle the situation than he is. yres. Van. Dusen then stetted
there would be no 'committee and that he will undertake the matter
personally.
There being no further 'business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:50 P&M.
