Regular order or business was suspended to hear objections of a com-

quest for protection against small houses. J. J. Cottony builder of

the houses in question, defended his construction as meeting all code

Chairman Shafer presented the case of Vernon 1+ . Cady, Who had obtained
a permit on January 4 of this ye-r to build a huuse, and had ,put up
two buildings for storage purposes on the strongth of this, permit, that

the main objection to one 6f the bui,..dings was that it been put
tier siding contrary to the building code. L.r. Cady stated that within

one or three Weeks ho would either gu ahead with 5 houses or give the
entire project and tear down the sheds,eperzdirag on action o the FHA
on his applications. lie stated that the storage houses are SIt x .40, built
125 ft. back from the edge of the pavement vn N. 4th Ave.., and that the
tin had :een thoroughly nailed. The CoLu cil agreed to give him three
weeks time on the shacks.
