The 1946; tax roll, showing a total open real roll of .;7123337100.00
and the total person..l roll of ZO , 350.00 was lire sentcd. It was
estimates? that Homestead and other exemptions would probably re-
duce' the total amount by approximately 40:5, leaving a net roll of
- approximately $926,210.00 on cihich taxes could be assessed. The
delay in getting the exemption figures was due to the fact that
these must be obtained from the office of the County Tax Assessor,

whose work on these items had not yet been completed.
There being no written or oral objections or complaints, the;meetirg

Councilman 5apos, moved that the roll as presented be approved and
accepted as the 1946 assessment roll I slowing a Deal gross open
total of .4,12333L,7100-00 assessed valuation and X1262350.00 gross open 1tQ-
tal Personal roll, with the further provision that Homestead Exemptions
Veterans, Widow's and Disability Exemptions properly filed and totaling
approximately 40;G of the entire ro le which will be granted by the
County also be allowed on the City roll. &lotion carried by poll,
