the addition of a patio and cocktail lounge to their ;present reo-
taurant (known as the Dixie Yig) to take care of the convoy business
they now have and to separate the present beer and wine bar from the

Next to appear before the Council were Messrs. Fuchsq Llewellyn
and Masner. Mr. Llewellyn stated that the Riding Club committee
had met with the amity committee the preceding evening and Councilman
Chinn reported that the Riding Club committee wishes to put up the
costs of acquiring title to the Uambridge Lawns propertyg title to
w. be vested in the City of South Miami$ and that when a good title
has been obtainedg want a 99 -year lease to use said property for
riding academy, stock sales, rodeo horse shows etc. Under this arrange-
ment the City would lose possible future taxes 9 altho at present it
has realized nothing on this propertyq and such a development would
attract people with money. Atty. Ward raised the question of the
City's right to make a 99 =year lease without competitive bid. Fol-
