The mectin� .'as called to order by Fres. Brown, with Mayor Vender-
boc .a, and Councilmen Barrow, Bostvick, Faust, Bennett and Brown
resoondi.ng to roll call,
Pres. Brown read the notice for the meetiin which had been called
to take -the place of the regulE,v meeting of (ctober 5, which
could net be held because of lack of a ti uorunr.'
Minutes of the regular meeting; of September 21 mere approved as
read.
U''rs. A. T. Pendray and Mrs. Bertha Henderson appeared before the.

Council to present details for the requested bulletin board., stating
that a location had been obtained on the building wall between
the Dorn- t4artin Drub; Co. and the Donning Seed Store, and that the
key could be kept at 'the drug store, so that it would be available
at all times. They su;.ested,a board 4 by 6 ft., with a glass door
but following a discussion, councilman Bostwick, seconued by Council-
-Alan Bennett, moved that the City check the size suitable for the
location and make arrangements to build said board,. Lotion carried.
The of post -war planning was brought up and while no

definite program could be outlined at this time it wa.s generally
agreed that the City should consider streets, sidei+lalks, a school =
within the City limits, and a park project in a post -war program.
It 4i, s agreed at this time that the Council and 1 ayor attend the
meetinL„ of muzicipa1 officials on October 19th at the `!hite Temple,
to listen to an address by Maj. Getz. Philip B. Fleming, FVIA adminis-
trator, on post -war planning.;
