Minutes of the regular meeting of April 7 were approved as read. Reports of standing co'rtinittees were as follows: Finance: O.K. Sanitation: Upon motion of Councilman Bennett, seconded by Councilman Gladden., it was decided to drop the fire, theft and windstorm insurance on the trash truck, originally required by the finance company, and now paid out. motion carried. Fire O.K. The Clerk was instructed to follow up the hose order placed several months ago, and on which delivery was now due. Streets Parks: Absent. Police_: Chairman 'Bennett stated that Officer E. ° „'.' L,cKinney had served his three - month's probationery period satisfactorily, and made the mo- tion , seconded by 'Council Gladden, that n,cKinney be placed on full basis at ,, )110.00 per month, effective as of April 1.
