TXendall Drive, calling attention to the fact that several merchants :n South I£iami were selling beer to minors, was read and resulted in a motion by Councilman Browne seconded by Councilman Bostwick, that all vendors of beer and wine be notified by letters quoting section of ordinance relating to the sale thereof to ,minors, and stating• that this must be enforced in all casesy with special attention to CCC' boys, 80% of whom are under age. T,.otion' carried. A letter from the Florida League of Municipalities, addressed to Atty. Ward_ and asking South 1,,Aanii to rejoin and agreeing to the cancellation of back " dues they had claimed, was read, and Atty. ;Yard instructed to get from the League a definite statement as to its plans regarding small munici- palities before taking up membership again. Atty. ;'lard stated that the League realizes it must study the problem of the smaller municipalities having a population of 102000 or less and if it did, it =iould be to the best advantage to the smaller municipalities to participate now.
