Martin, Notary Public, administered the oath of office to Mayor- r elect Frederick Glassy who -in turn administered the oath of office to 'Councilmeanderboegh9 Faust�Gladden,, Brown and Bostwick. - elect The meeting was then called to order by Mayor Glass, who gave,a report on the request for ;a proposed motor _postal service 'being asked for to serve the Miami - Key West area. Upon motion of Councilman Gladden, seconded by Councilman Bostwick; and carriedg Councilman Vanderboegh was appointed temporary chairman of the meeting. Nominations for president of the Council were thereupon declared in order and Councilman Gladden presented the name of H. W. Vanderboegh. Councilman Faust seconded by Councilman Bostwick2 moved nominations be closed. Motion carried and. Co uncilman Vanderboe,gh declared president of the Council. Nominations for vice - president then being declared in order2 Councilman Gladden,, seconded by Councilman Bostwick2, placed the name of T. J. Faust before the Council. Councilman Browns seconded by Councilman Bostwick2 moved that nominations be closed. Motion carried and Councilman T J. Faust declared Vice - president of the Council..
