The meeting was celled to order by the president of the council,
N. J Beaver, those present being ocuacilmen Yarborough, chubbuok
Saboacker, West, Notger, and Bearer.
The Clerk reed the minutes of the regular melting of the council
held August 1, 1933. There being no corrections the minutes were adopted
as reed•
The Clerk reed the following `comumiostio» s:
Conumioation from the iFlorid� League of Inmtoipaiit es informing the
council that g+ourermnent loans' for operating expenses were not available
at the present time.
Oomm nication from Vanderpool & Comrany asking for the renewal of the
Policemaa•s bond.
Councilman West offered a motion which was seconded by councilmen
Metgsr that the Police bond be renewed. The motion oarried unanimously.
00=011man Yarborough moved that Myor Peacock and the City Clerk
be authorised to work out a proposition whereby property owners can pay
delinquent taxes by partial payments, and nabs -a report on same at the
next council meeting. The mot on was seconded by councilman Hest and
carried tiwanimonsly`
Councilmen Notger offered a motion which wee seconded by oo�mc lmea
West that the clerk be `instructed to propare an ordinenes repealing
ordinance No 259 The motion carried.
Councilman Chabbuck mowed that fir' Peacock and Councilman Beaver
be authorised to sea, the Bank of COaOwt.Grows in an effort to borrow
$ 1,000.00 for the City. The motion was seconded by councilman West and
was carried.
Sere being no further business the meeting adjourned in regular order.
