The Meeting was called to order by the President of the Council,,
A. J. Beater, those present being, Mayor Peacock and Councilmen Meteor
Yarborough, Chabbuck, 3ohmsoker, West, end Beater.
The Clerk read the minutes c' the regular meeting held July 18th.,
1933. There being no .corrections the minutes were adopted as read.
The Clerk placed before the council a communication from the
Florida League of Municipalities relative to membership in that organ=
satione No action was taken upon the matter at this time.
♦ oomman oation from Attornet Thos, B. Everhart in behalf of Mr.
E. R. Clark asking that Blocks 2 & 3, Palm Miami Heights Amended P1at,be
assessed as acreage, was placed before the council.
Councilman Yarborough moved that the Clerk be Instructed to write
to'Mre Everhart asking for s plat of the amended Blocks 2 & 3 Palm, Miami
Heights and notify him that the application for change in assessment was
too late for the 1933 tae roll but will be filed for the 1934 tat roll.
Me motion was seconded by.couno lman West and was carried.
The Cleft read the minutes of the Egaallsation Board,; Friday, July 29 ~
1938. There being No corrections the minutes were adopted as read. �
A motion was mmde by councilman Yarborough and seconded by Botimoil-
man Wert that the City tax levy for the year 1933 be set at mine ]dills (9)
on all t4sable property. A Poll of the tote resulted as foilan
