The meting was cslied by My►or Peacock for the purpose of discussing
financial problems and any other b s ness matters which might arise.;
The meeting was called to order by the president of the council
Mr. Beaver, those present be ilmen.`Terborough, Chubbuck, 9ohmsaker,
Cordell, Rest, and Beaver.. Catmc'
Councilman Babmacker offered a motion which was 'seconded by Councilman
Yarborough that taz certificates for the years 1926, 1927, 1928, and 1929
be discounted at 50% instead of 66 2/3 % as set up in resolution No e2
passed November 15th, 1932, same to take effect as of July lot, 1933. The
motion was carried unanimously.
Councilman Cordell moved that Appropriation Ordinance No 66 be placed

Ordinance 'lo 66 was read In its entirety to the council.
Cmmailasa'3oboacker moved that Ordinance No 66 be placed on second res
reading by captic# only. The motion was seconded by Councilman Rest and wen
carried unanimously.
After considerable discussion, President of the council, N, J. Bearer
Instructed the city cleric to see Mr Wittkow In the matter pertaining to his
offer to buy certain city owned taz certificates for the year 1927 on the
basis of the 1929 assessment with the current discount rate allowed, and
Info= him that the discount rate for certificates over two years old bad been
r;lsed to SOZ and that the council would accept his proposition on the basis
of the SO % ;rate•
