Councilman ;,:etger offered the motion that ,ity attorney Sullivan be instructed to amend the bill presented to the State legislature the caption of which is as follows;- An act to amend the act creating the city of South „iami, to defin a and establish the corporate limits of said City and to exclude certain territory from said City; preservinn, the liens for taxes in favor of the city in the territory excludedl said amendment applying to section 91 of the City charter, changing same to comply with the general laws of the State of Florida pertaining thereto. The motion was seconded by councilman Cordell and was carried unanimously. Councilman Cordell made a motion that the "Sity clerk be authorized to issue a check to the amity Attorney l;r. J. 0. Sullivan for one Hundred Dollars. The motion was ;seconded by councilman Chubbuck and was carried by poll as follows Yarborough yes ;hest yes Chubbuck ,yes Cordell yes Schmacker yes T.etger yew , Beaver yes Councilman ;;etge.r Trade a motion that the matter of obtaining tax deeds On certain Bird road Estates property be referred to city attorney Sulivan and that he be instructed to tale such stets as is necessary to protect the Interests of the City in this, case.
