There being; present the retiring eyor 7. A. Poster, I.'ayor; elect
George' L. Peacock, and Councilmen. elect L'huobuck, Sc}unacker, Beaver,
L:etg;er, Cordell and ',lest, the meetings was called to order by the
retiring; Layor .7. A. Poster vho administered the oath of office to the
new mayor, George L. Peacock. Following; his induction into office,

Councilman 0hubbuck address nm the members of the council,
moved that ouncilmen IT. ',J. Beaver be and is hereby elected, president..
of the City Council. Councilmen Schmncker seconded' the m..otion which eras
unanimously adopted apon being put to vote.
Councilman I,:etg er offered a motion_ which vms seconded by council-
-man Chubbuck that the Oity clerk., H. P. Shelley, act as temporary '
secretary of this reeting . The motion was carried
