Lindley, president of the council being absent, a motion was made by councilman Chubbuck that Councilman Schmacker act as President Pro Tom. The motion was seconded by councilman Red and upon being put to vote, carried unanimously. Those present were Councilman Angerian, Chubbuck, Burtashaw, Reif, and Schmacker and Mayor foster. Mr. Schmacker took the chair and called the "meeting to order. The clerk read the minutes of the regular meeting of the council held December 20th 1932. The minutes 'were corrected and'adppted as corrected. The clerk then presented bills on hand for approval of the council. The following bills were accepted by the various department committeemen : - James Hutson Police Dept `tire repairs 1.50' .Jesse Red Sanitary Dept, Gas Acct 16.41 Petty Cash Clerks Office expense 9.23- Easters Service Station Sanitary 'Dept Truck repair 2050 Jesse Red Fire 0,hief Salary 40.00^ Dunham Office Furn. Co. Clerks Office Typewriter rep. 6.75 E. B. Leather:ran. Tar. Certificate Report 5.00- Southern Printers Printing;, Clerks Office 11.00• Ora#ge State Cil Company Police Dept Gas Acct 16.65• Iir. Red made a motion that the above bills be paid. The motion was seconded by councilman.Burtashawthe roll resulting as follows Angerman yes Chu bbuck. yes Burtashaw yes Red yes Sblumcker yea The motion carried. A Kotion was made by councilman lied that the Ilerk bo authorized to issue I check; to the Florida Power and Light Oompany in the sum of Two hundred Fifty Dollars (N250.00),and a check to Amer ican- La`r`rance and. Foamite Industries in sum of Eighty Five Dollars (P5.00,) . Oounc.lman Red then nominatod the following to serve on the election board for the election to be held February 14, 1933:- :r. J. 11. Collar, 1.r J.C, letger, and L.r. t'. B. Cordell, inspectors and :.:r. li. H. " gf;irs, clerk. After some discussion l.:r. Rod moved that the above Candidates be elected for officers of said election. The motion was seconded by councilman Angorrau and carried unanimously.
