Pursuant to adjournment of May 2331 council convened in adjourned session. Present were, R.5.Lindley president of the council;, and councilmen, An&e -rman, Houser, Burtashaw,'Ied, 6fid Shelley. i:eeting called to ord.r by the president, Llhereupon ;;ayor Foster, submitted to council a tentative budget, for the fiscal year ending June 30th, 193":. On motion of councilman led, second by councilman Angermen, budget was received and ordered '`iled for future reference. D 7 Auditor Purvis Presented to council an audit of City's 'books from Uarch 1st, to Yay 23d, 1931. Upon motion of councilman Burta.shaw, second. by councilman Angernan ; audit was accepted and ordered filed, President Lindley thereupon read resignation of A.II.Chibbuck as City Olerk, and Councilman Angerman offered and moved the adoption of the following resolution; same being seconded by councilman Houser, as follows to rfit; a ri P "hereas A.H.0hubbuck has been r;ity '3lerk, ',ity Treasurer, 'laY Collector, 'Tax .Assessor, Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Police Officer, and Clerk of the Llunieipai +7ourt, of the City of South Mami,,during Ykl or a part of the months of r arch,`y`tipril, And May 1931 and „' resigned from the above mentioned offices, and as all of the r. ccxC,s, t ity have been audited, and as all books and records have been reported kept and are in good order, and All the assets of the City are duly accounted for and have been tendered,, to the City council, now, therefore be it resolved, that the resignation of '.II.Chubbuck be accepted, and the said audit be accepted, and *e �r.that receipt of all books, records, accounts, and 'assets which have been in the ka46ping of A.I1.0hubbuck, be hereby 'acknowledged.
