Daytona Beach,Fla. to exchange Accounts Payable to Main Ehgineering Go,
from The City of South I iami,in the amount of Three- Hundred Dollars
{ 300.00) and Fifty Two Dollars and ninty for cents il�cash.
( 52.94) for 1928 and 1929 Tax certificates on fifty acres of
land more or less.
Motion made to sell the Tax Certificates to `Main. Eagisseering 6

June ;1 1931. Seconded and carried by seal imation, unanimously

p Attorney Nelson read decision of The Supreme Court as a basis of his
opinion that in order for the Council to adjust back taxes a bill giving such
authority must pass the State Legislature.
Councilman Chubbuck made motion thatCity A ttorney Donald 3I4 Nelson be
instructed to prepare and submit, to state legislature a Bill giving City of
South Miami the right to adjust past due taxes This not to cost more than
Fifty Dollars. 50.0o)

"Councilman Ormsby made motion that The Clerk be instructed to have 500
ballots printed for special election to be held May 12 1931.
Seconded by Councilman Chubbuck, Unanimously carried by acclimation.
