February 4th, 1930,
Minutes of the regular meeting of the City Council held Toes-
day evening`, February 4th, 1930.
President Myers called the meeting to order.
Mayor Phillips administered the oath of office to Z. H. Geiger
who had been appointed as a councilman at the last meeting:
(� Councilmen Core, Smith and Bryant were absent.
The minutes of the council meeting of January 21, 1930 were
f�~ ead and approved.
r On a motion regularly made and seconded by ,Councilmen Shelley
and Vanship, Resolution #50, authorizing four 100 candlepower light
in Biltmore Heights was unanimously carried.
Councilmen Shelley and Manship made and seconded ?a motion that was
unanimously carried that the bills as read be paid, subject to the
approval of the finance com,,,itteeman.
The clerk was asced to write Mr. 3odenbaugh of the F.E.C. R.R.
Co, for permission to .;plant -palms in R.R. park.
Attorney Sullivan was requested to write the Florida Railway
Commission relative to securing a new station in South. Miami.
Councilmen Shelley and 'Geiger made and seconded a motion that
seat covers be purchased for the new Ford. Councilmen Manship,
Geiger and Shelley voted Yes; Councilman 1�5rers, No. The motion was
ordered carried.
The meeting was then adjourned in the 'regular form.
