Minutes of the regular meertingiof the City Council of the City
Of mouth Miami, held Tuesday evenin , August 20, 1528, at 8 :00 P.I:F.
President Paxson called the meeting to order.

Councilman"'Stang was the only absentee.
C. J. Ross appointed councilman at the last meeting,, having ta4en
the oath of office, was oresent.
The clerx read the minutes of the meeting of A ugust 7th, 1928,
which, were aoproved as read.
vCouncilmen 14',yers and Barra made and seconded a motion that the
cleric be authorized to issue a license to the haesch Jelly, factory. "
The same carried unanimously on polling the vote.
Councilman W. G. Stang's resignation was read by the clerk and
t in regular form.
Councilmen Phillips and Dorn mdde and seconded a motion that
W. F. Mansh;iti be appointed to take care of the Fire Trick under the
conditions as out?i�ned in his letter to the council of August 13th,
