Minufes of called meeting of the City. Council of South
Miami, held June 11, 15 a8
President Paxson called the meeting to order,
Councilmen Dorn and Janes were absent.
Mayor Foster having admini- stered the oath of office as council-
man to F. 14'. Phillips he was admitted to sit with the council.
The clerk read the minutes of the meetings of May 15th and 21st'w
x which were approved as read.
Regularly moved, seconded and unanimously carried that the
bills as okayed by proper committeeman be maid as read.
Councilman Stang made and Councilman IvIyers seconded. a motion
that C. F. Brundage be paid �3742,, 40 �Yhich is the balance due him
in Engineering fees on Imp. District #1 and #2 upon proper assign-
ments of said account that meet with the approval of the Cit.,,,
Attorney. Upon polling the vote, Councilmen Stang, 11tiyers, Barrs
and Paxson voted "yes ". C'ouncilman'2hillips did not vote
The motion was ordered carried.
Councilman Barrs made and Councilman r,yers seconded a motion
x that A. H. Bede be paid X1000.00 for a receipt iii, flzll for his one-
half interest in the Gill "of ,;x3742.4 -0 which is the balance due
C. F Br,. ndage, s;xbje.et to the proper assignment okayed by the
City Attorney; this money to be paid as follows: '$500.00 cash
and a note for $500.00 for six months, at 8/10. Upon rolling the vote,
Councilmen Stai1g, Nyers, Barrs and Paxson voted "yes. ", Councilman
Phillips did, not vote. The motion was carried.
The meeting was then adjourned in regular form.
