The minutes of the meeting of Aiarch 20, 1�-S were read and approved. Counckmen Dorn and Janes made and seconded a motion that the l t7 local ball club be donated ;100.0'0 by the City and that the Shrine be donated $200.00. On polling this vote was carried unanimously. ��Councilmen Dorn and Y4yers made and seconded a motion that the clerk and mayor be authorized to sign R.R. Park agreement on the Y "' approval of same by our attorney and that Resolution #39 be adopted. This motion was carried unanimously Councilmen Dorn and Mayer made and seconded a motion that Councilman Barrs be authorized to work with the Chamber of Commerce and Pairs. Dorn in the impro ve -.rent of the °2. R. Park and he also be authorized to ex'oend not to 'exceed i,r20J.00 "or tlis ,ur)os:e. On oohing the vo te,; this motion was unanimously carried. Councilmen Barra and Dorn made and seconded a motion that C. F. 3rundage be relieved of his duties as City 17ngineer and that the Clerk notify him of this decision by registered mail. This motion' was carried unanimously. _ It was regularly moved, seconded and unanimously carried that 4.40.00 per -month be charged against C. F. Brundagef,s account as rent on his office which is part of the City ball and that this amount was agreed upon when he first moved in, but only one month was paid and that he be notified that this rent agreement, is terminated,-as of April 10, 1928. This motion was unanimously carried,. Councilmen Dorn and Barra made and seconded a motion that Asst. Engineer Beck be paid 4. 00. on Improvement District #2, the same to be applied against the fee due the engineer for this work. This motion on polling was unanimously carried. Councilman Dorn and Janes made and seconded a motion that A H. Beck be retained as Building and Electrical Inspector at $25.00 per,month. The vote was as follows; Councilmen Dorn, Janes, Mayer, Barra and Paxson voted yes; Councilman Myers voted no. The vote being 5 to 1 the motion was ordered. After this motion, Councilman Dorn retired by nprmission of the Pres : dent;. Councilmen Barra and Janes made and seconded a motion that a Ford Touring Car be uurchased by the clerk and when this car is de- livered all car allowances be stopped. On polling the vote, the motion was carried unanimously. It was regularly m -ved,' seconded and undnimously carried that the tax delinquent date on real estate be extendect thirty daays.
