Continuation of the regular meeting of the City Council
of'Setitember 20th,; 1927 held 'September 23rd, 1527 at 8 :00' .II:
in the City Hall on Sunset Road.
Councilmen Stang and Martin were absent.
The committee on Cambridge Lawns reported favorably on the
project with certain reservations relative to the filling of
same.
It- was regularly moved, secon °ied and car4zied `that the bids,"
as ordered by Resolution 125 be opened. The "tabulati.ons of same,
are on file with the cleric.
The clerk then read Ordinance #32 for its third reading,,
the title of this Ordinance being;
r AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR EXAP.'INATION'; LICENSING,
AND REGISTRATION OF PERSONS ENGAGED 07Z ENG- DING IN
THE 3USINESS OR 10Rr_ OF INSTALLING P UMBING OR
HOUSE DRAINAGE AND THE SUPERVI S ION AND INSPECTION
OF P LUXBING AND HOUSE DRAINAGE IN THE 'CITY OF SOUTH
ACIAMI, FLORIDA.
Councilman Barrs moved and Councilman Janes seconded a motion
that Ordinance #32 be adopted as read. Upon being put to vote
Ordinance r32 was declared and unanimously adopted.
Councilman Barrs moved and Councilman Janes seconded a motion
that the Council reconsider the purchase of a site for a City Hall.
This motion was unanimously carried upon being put to vote.
It was regularly moved, seconded and unanimously carried that i
the stenographer be retained to finish'the work on the tax sale
certificates.
