The, meeting was called to order by Pres. of the Council,
J. T,. •Pa zon.
The clerk ;called the roll and found all councilmen bresent.
The deputy clerc then read the minutes of the .Regular Meeting
0 the Council. held April 5 `and the minutes of the continuance of

the same meeting held Apr K =13. They were corrected and aDDroved:
Alderman 3arrs moved the chairman appoint a committee to visit
Attorney Sullivan for the _purpose oi' expe9iting the charter pre -
paration and departure for Tallahassee. Alderman Martin econded
the motion; on 'being -gut to vote, the motion was carrie-. Chairman
Paxson appointed Aldermen 3arrs, T.arti:n and Mayor Foster on th ^s
committee.
Chairman Paxson called, for reports from committeeman.
Alderman 3arrs, committeeman on 13uildin,,reportedSeaboard Oil
Station had been instruc ;eci to change windows which when open project
over .�idewalk on Sunset Road.
Alderman h�yers, committeeman on :3treets, reported that he does

Alderman T.artin,, 'committeeman on 3an3tation, had nothing to report.
Alderman Stang brought up qu.estion of the present working basis
between the Florida Power E Light Co. and the town relative to insoec-
tions and securing of service. A ter a general discussion, the eoancil
instructed the committee calling on Attorney 8u? ;livan, to determine from i
him the rights of the Florida Po,;er 3: Light Co. to refuse service after
being, Okayed by our : ns -ec't or,
The 'neJneer presented the new fire zone ordinance, Ordinance 422,
as prepared by him in accordance with the instruction of the town
council at the last Re6alar Yeetine. The Title Of Ordinance is as
follows:

The Deputy Cleric then Droceeded to ,read the Ordinance wvrd
for word and section by section, and as each section was read it was
approved- by the members of the council.
A motion was made by A "aerman 3arrs that Ordinance 422 be read
by title only. Motion was seconded by.'Alder:man Stang and upon being
put to vote was carried,
The Deputy Clerk proceeded to read Ordinance, 422 by title only,
this constituting the second reading of said ordinance.
The deputy clerk presented his bond for '2000.00 required by
the code and _same was approved by the ,council,
Alderman 4Y en moved adjourn. Motion was seconded oy
