Y` Iti nutes of a stated meeting of the Town Council of the TownLn
of S4i, h Miami, Fla., held Monday evening, November 22n , 1926
at 8:00 o!clock P.M., in the Town Hall on Sunset Road for the
)urpose of sitting as a 3oard of Equalization to hear complaints
relative to 'Improvement provided for in Resolution covering worx to
be done i "n _Im7)rovement „District No. 1, Known -as •Cambridge Liawns ”
Subdivision.
The Meeting, was called to order by the President ol' the _
4 Council,' Mr. J. Ir. Paxson.
The 'Clerk then, °- oroceeded to call the roll: and found the follow -
�; ing ,mentioned members present: J. ,. Paxson, J. 1, V. Bares, Jno. I,�yers,,
J. B Janes, R L. Martin, H. 77. Dorn & "J. G. Stang.
The bresi;dent then stated the - ournose of the: meeting- and `called
for an expression from ;:ome of the property owners interested.
Mr. McCloud stated he represented the owners of the Droperty
to be improved and that they were in favor of having the work done.
No complaints were received oy the equalization board.
A motion was made by Alderman J. B. _Janes that Special Assetis-
ment Roll for Improvement District No. 1 be approved and confirmed
as presented. Motion was seconded by Alderman VI. G Stang.
Motion was voted on by poll and tally, of 'vote showed six: members
voting "yes ".
The President of the Council thereupon declared the Special
Assessment roll for Improvement No. 1 duly approved` and confirmed.
There being no further business to come before- the meeting '
a motion was made by Alderman J no. Myers to adjoarn.
Motion was seconded by Alderman Stang and upon being out to vote
was carried, all votes being in the a2firmative.
