Minutes oP a Special Call Meeting of the Town Council of the Town of South Yiami, Fla., held Monday evening, November. 22nd; 1926, at 7, :00 o'clock P.M. in compliance with a request as set forth in a letter sent to each- member of the Council by the I4ayor. 11 which letter read as follows To the Members of the Council of the Town of South IUami, Greetings You are hereby notified that there will be a call meet - '' n ing of the Town Council to be held at 7 :00 a.ml. The ClerA called the roll and found the following mentioned present: of the Council pesent: J. I. Paxson, J. 'L' Barrs, J. I B. Janes; Jno. Itvets, R. Yartin, H. "'�. Dorn arid, W. G. Stang. " The President then stated the purpose of the meeting; and .n strucited the Clerk to proceed with the opening of the bids, there being "two bids submitted. , The first bid opened was that made by W. T. Price Co;, and was cecompanied by a certified check for ;k4771.52. The gran.i total of id was Y190,860.87. Time asrced to complete wont was 90 days from bate of starti.% . I. T. Price Co, agreed to acceAt Special Improve- ment ent Bonds at not less t'✓ an 94j of the = r face value in -payment for work ,done. - The second bid opened was made by th -- Geo. E. Edgecomb Co ,Inc., of Miami, Fla. This bid was accom~�anied by 'a chashier's check or, the sum of W5250.00. The grand 'total of their, bid was 11GS6924.20. Time asked to complete work was 75 days. They agreed to accept Town of Soof ,�the. th Miami, Fla. Special Improvemes,t Bonds at not less than ,5% it face value in payment for worx done. After a general discussion of the figures as shown in thetwo b ".ids a motion was made by '11. G. Stang that the meeting adjourn to Friday evening, Bovember 26th at 7:30p.?
