Y . nt The Town Clerk then called the roll and following mentioned members were present: J. T,.-Paxson, J. W. ,Baers, J. 9. Janes, = Jno. Y4yers, W. G. Stang, H. W. Dorn and R. l., 'Martin. The President then called on the various committeemen for ?' reports but no reports were made. Alderman_ 'Darrs reported no action ha C', een takcen b,; owner Of property condemned by the bu4lding inspector. The attorney advised that instructions could be given to have S� buildings torn down. The auestion of leaching basin at drug store was taken up and Jno. urgers was instructed to have it cleaned and out in working order. Alderman J. W. Barrs suggested that an Ordinance be drawn and passed regulating the sale and ignition of .fireworks The President of the Council instructed the Clern to have an Ordinance drawn for pr- esentation to the Council. at a Special Meeting to be held Friday evening,, November 19th, prohibiting ;sale and use of fireworks,. A petition was )resented to the Council signed by property owners objecting to the improvements as planned in Improvement District No. 2., Also a petition signed by owners in favor of Im- provements. After a lengthy discussion of the aubjecS by the members of the Council and nrooerty owners present, a motion was made by Alderman 71. G. Stang that the neoAl :e be given an oprortunity'to further express themselves with reference to the imnr•ove ents and ,that a special adjourned meeting be held Friday` evening, November 19th, 1926, at .8 :)) P.M,. for the purpose Of hearing; from the ir'o nerty owners and deeding what part of the work shoo -d be held in abeyance. >_otion was seconded by Alderman Martin and when put to vote was carried, all votes being nO'the affirmative. There being no further ousiness to come before the board, a motion was made by Alderman Jno. 1+1lyers to a�journ to a Special meet- ing to be held Friday evening, wovembtr 19th, at 8:00 P.P'.
