Dorn. ;- Minute's of the meeting of Oct. 5th were read and approved.- President Paxson, called on the various committeemen for reports. R. L. IN. Dorn renoxted for Special Committee appointed to tare up matter of having station rebuilt. He stated Mr. ;'!a" ton, District SUD't of the F.E..C. Ry. Co. advised he had recommended that a modern station oe built near the sight of the station which was destroyed by fire.: The question of having crossing widened was taken up with Mr. Walton who said that ;Mans were under way to have temporary' station moved and crossing widened' at an early date. �t this time in the meeting, Mr. H. W. Dorn introduced Mr. G. G. DocxEtzef; -; Vice-Pres. of Coral Gables Sank, who made statement regarding the plan which had been worked out in Coral Gables to assist in financ- ing the rehabilitation °grogram o,y :asuing bonds to raise funds for re- condi tioni.ng loans. The question of allowing a special discount on tax oay,ments- made in the month of November and December 1926 was ta;cen up by the Counci 1 and after a general discussion of the question by all the me =•.begs, a motion c was made by J. V1. Barra that a discount of,10jb be allowed or, all payments of taxes :Wade in N,,vember and a discount of 5w on all ,payments made in December 1926. The motion was seconded o,� Alderman Martin and upon being lout to vote was carried, all votes being in the affirmative. The Town 3ngineer then presented Resolution jt16 and the Town Clert was instructed to read this resolution, . which was as follows: REI SOLUTION N0. is. Mayor., A motion was made by Alderman R. L. Martin that Resolution #18 be adopted as read. The motion to adopt Resolution ;418 was seconded by - J. W. Barrs. Motion was n-..t to vote and vote ta:cen- by Doll. Following 'mentioned Aldermen voted Aye: J. B. Janes, J. W. Barr, R. _J. Martin, H.W. Dorn, 71. G. Stang and Jno. T °yers,. There being no negative votes the resolution was declared unanimously adocted by the Presiient of the Council,_ J.'. Paxson who stated that the resolution had his approval Alderman J. W. Barrs made a motion that policeman James W. Koon be requested to resign, resignation to be effective at once. Alderman H. W. Dorn seconded the motion. Alderman Jk. ;iyers then ma?e a motion to amend the motion of J. W. Barrs to include the name of Larshall i:. E. Fleming. Alderman H. W. Born seconded t .e amendment made by Jno. It yers. Alderman J. W. Barrs accepted the amendment as made by Alderman Jno. Zrers, Mr. J. L. Paxson, President of "the Co.�nc' 1, called for a ti�dte by Doll on the amendment and tally showed four voting .,yes and two voting no. The amendment to the, *riot: on was declared accepted. The President, Mr. Paxson then called for a , , poll vote on the motion as amended, ani the to -Ily of the vote showed four in the affirmative_ and two in the negative. The President then declared the motion carried as amended. Town Clerk, George Airey, then „ornuight up ti.e question of the appointment of -a Tax Collector for the Town of South I'liami, Florida. A motion was made by H. V!. Dorn that Geo. A. Airey be appointed to act a-, Collector of Tayes for period ending March 2nd, 1927. :notion was seconded by Alderman J. 11.
