M. it the town hall on Sunset Road. Meeting was called to order by J. ID. Paxson, President of the Board. The Clerk then called the roll, the following mentioned Aldermen being present. J L. Paxson, R. L. Martin, J. B. Janes, W. G. Stang, J.W. Barrs and Harold: w. Dorn. Alderman H. W. Dorn, Chairman of Committee on Transportation re- ported that Mr. Hollingsworth, the operator of the bus between South Miami and Coral Gables Interurban Line had informed him that unless Yin nancial aid was furnished him, he would no obliged .to discontinue the service. After a general discussion of the subject by all Aldermen present it° was decided that an effort should be, made to get the Jitney Bus people of Miac�i to take over the operation of the bus line to the Interurban Line and Mr. H. W. Dorn was instructed to communicate w th t them with a`view to working out some plan under which the bus service could be continued. The question Of traffic signal light for the interseotion of Sunset Road and West Ingraham Highway was taken up by the board and a Motion was made by Alderman Barrs and seconded by Alderman Martin that Town Engineer be instructed to have built a Traffic Signal Caution Light to cost approx v imately fifty dollard (060.00) . Motion was put to vote and c arried, all votes being in the afrirmatve. The Clerk read a communication from Mr, C.:,I. Brooks owner of the Brooks building in which complaint was made regarding the condition of the roadway on the east side of his property and requested that some action' be taken by the board to have the roadway cleared up. The matt was discussed by the board and the committee on JVarking Ordinance was asked to give it immediate attention, h The question of bonds to be furnished by the marshall and town clerk was brought up by the President, Mr. J. ,L. Paxson, and it was decided that arrangements should be made to have marshall and Town Clerk bonded as provided for in the Code adopted by the Town Council. There being no further business to come before the board, motion was made by Alderman Stang and seconded by Alderman H. V1. Dorn that the meeting adjourn to regular meeting July 20th, 1926 at 8 P. M.
