J. Barns., John Byers, W. G. Stang; R. L . L5:Lrtin_, J. B. Janes, and Har old 71. Dorn. : o It was moved by W. G. - tang and seconded by J. B. Janes that J. Le Paxson be selected to act'as chairman: of the meeting. The motion was voted on and carried, Mr. Paxson acting as chairman. A motion_ was' made by W. G. Stang and seconded by,, John Myers that J. L. Paxson be elected as president of,the Board of Alder,,%en for the ensuing term. It was moved by J. B. Janes and seconded by R. L. L ".artin the nominations of president of the Board of Aldermen_ be closed. The ., motion_ was put to vote and carried.* f ° A motion was made by Johr. :Myers and seconded by John Barrs that f J.-L. Paxson_ be elected as president of the Board of 'Aldermen' by0acclima- tion.. The motion, being put to vote, was carried unanimously and J. L. M Paxson was declared elected as president of the Board of Aldermen for the Town of .South I.'Iiami for the ensuing term. A selection was then made by lot to divide the aldermen in two classes one class of aldermen to hold office for two years and. one class r of three aldermen to hold office for one year. The selection by lot ' resulted in J. L. Paxson, J. '. ". Barrs, John I5yers, and W. G. Stang being !; selected to hold office for a term of two years and aldermen R. L. Martin, t J J. B. Janes that the Clerk confer with the attorney regarding the notification of the V. S. Post Office, The '"lorida 'Past Coast ~. R.,_ The 1. estern Union and the American Railway "�xprejs Co. to have the name of the offices and stations changed to South 1-Tiami.
